Aluminium Profiles
There are minimum order quantities for all our Aluminium Profiles of at least 100m
Our fantastic range of aluminium profiles allows the user to protect their Surelight EL wire from many elements.
By using these specialised profiles, the EL wire becomes:
- More robust
- Vandal-proof
- Extremely water resistant
- More resiliant
We have profiles for applications in flooring, on ceilings and walls, and on staircases. These profiles are extremely useful when installing our EL Glow Wire for way guidance safety systems in, for example, cinemas or backstage in theatres, when the Health and Safety of staff and the public is of vital importance.
There are seven types of Surelight aluminium profiles:
- Combo: Can be screwed down to an unfinished stair edge. It is designed to enable you to fit carpet neatly underneath the edges. This profile also has an anti-slip function.
- Stair overlapped: Can be screwed down or glued to a finshed stair edge. This profile also has an anti-slip function.
- Internal stair: Designed for fitting our glow wire to staircases underneath flooring such as ceramic tiles.
- Wall: Designed for fitting our wire to walls particularly along the skirting board or other areas close to the floor.
- Prism: This profile is ideal for fitting Surelight Neon Glow Wire to floors or ceilings without the need for surface chamfering.
- Simple: Can be embedded into floors or walls to provide a smooth finish.
- Stair overlapped wide: This profile is 26mm wider than the Stair overlapped profile. It is ideal for way guidance systems in cinemas.
Each aluminium profile comes with the appropriate Omega Profile. It easily attaches into our aluminium profile.
We can also provide a milliing cutter to allow you to fit our Omega Profile into alternative material such as wood to suit your requirements.
